2011+ Softail Wiring Harness

1) Bad Dad's Basic Wiring Harness features 3 sections: (1) center section that will supply ground, run light & brake light functions (ideal for a center brake light or running light); (1) section which will supply ground, run light, brake light & left turn signal (ideal for a left turn signal application); and (1) section which will supply ground, run light, brake light & right turn signal (ideal for a right turn signal).

The two sections of the wiring harness supplying run light, brake light, and turn signal functions have only two wires: (1) ground wire and (1) power wire. This single power wire controls the taillight's run, brake & turn features by modulating the amount of voltage supplied to the taillight.

Connect the ground wire from the harness to the ground wire from the taillight. Connect the single power wire from the harness to the high intensity wire of your taillight.
