Our custom parts are pre-drilled and pre-fit to make installation as seamless as possible. Many of our items are also backed by our Lifetime Warranty, and our full-time customer service team is always here to help. We know you’ll love the way your bike looks with our hand built, American made parts.

All Bad Dad parts are proudly designed and manufactured in the USA—many right here in our own shop. We love every part of the process, from design to production, and we’re proud to create our products here.

Please note that some non-Bad Dad parts we offer for your convenience are made by other trusted companies in the industry.

Shipping & Order Tracking

All of our parts are made, packaged, and shipped directly from our shop in Indiana.

Most of our parts are in stock and ready to ship within 1-5 business days, often within 24 hours. For larger orders or orders with unique parts, it may take up to 5 business days to prepare for shipping. If any delays arise, we’ll notify you right away.

If your order includes both custom and in-stock items, we’re happy to ship the in-stock parts right away while we complete your other custom parts.

Paint orders and custom-built items are made to order and typically take 3-8 weeks to complete, depending on the season. We will confirm the timeline with you once your order is received. Please reach out to us about our current lead times before ordering if you have any concerns.

If your order includes both custom and in-stock items, we’re happy to ship the in-stock parts right away while we complete your other custom parts.

Shipping typically takes 1-5 business days for delivery once your order has left our shop.

Occasionally, due to manufacturing delays or other delays beyond our control, certain parts may go out of stock. If this happens, we will contact you to inform you of the delay. If your order includes both in-stock and out-of-stock items, you can choose to have the available items shipped first.

Yes, we do! Most of our shipments to Canada are handled by FedEx and typically arrive within 1-5 business days after shipping.

Yes, we frequently ship worldwide. Please contact us for a shipping quote based on your location.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number. Use this to monitor your shipment’s progress.

We take care to ship our parts in custom packaging to eliminate shipping damage, but if an item arrives damaged, please inspect it carefully and notify us of any shipping damage within 7 days. We cannot be responsible for any damaged items after 7 days.

In order to help with your damaged item, we will need:
1. Pictures of the damaged part
2. Pictures of the shipping label on the box
3. Pictures of all four sides of the shipping box

Please retain all original packaging materials for the return process.

If any items are missing or lost in transit, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your package. After 7 days, we cannot be responsible for missing items.

Paint Services

All of our in-house paint work is done using genuine OEM Harley-Davidson paint for an accurate color match. Our paint staff has decades of experience providing world-class paint work and we are excited to paint your new parts for you. We even paint for several Harley-Davidson dealerships, so you can trust the quality and precision of our work.

Paint orders are made to order, and lead times can vary depending on the season. Typically, paint work takes 3-8 weeks. We will confirm the timeline when your order is received, or you can contact us for updates at any time. Please reach out to us about our current lead times before ordering if you have any questions about your next order.

Yes, our paint service includes us pre-fitting all your new parts prior to painting as part of our process.

Pre-Fit Parts

While our parts come pre-drilled and pre-fit for easy installation, we always recommend pre-fitting them prior to painting by your own painter to confirm clearances, fitment, and compatibility with other custom parts. We are not responsible for any paint costs incurred if the parts are not pre-fit prior to painting.

Please note that items painted by your painter cannot be returned.

Payments

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and Affirm.

Returns & Exchanges

We are proud to offer one of the best return policies in the industry. Items returned within 30 days are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which covers the cost of inspection and repackaging. Returns made after 30 days are subject to a 25% restocking fee. We do not accept returns after 90 days from your delivery date.

We do not accept any returns for parts that have been used, modified, painted, or are not in like-new condition. Parts must be in like-new and resaleable condition in order to be considered for a return.

Any part that has been used or painted is not returnable. However, unused parts painted by us can be returned within the return period. Please note that painting costs for parts painted by us are non-refundable, as these parts are custom-painted for your order.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

To make a return, please contact us for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. You are responsible for return shipping costs and must ensure the item is adequately packaged to prevent damage.

We’re happy to accept exchanges for parts up to 90 days after your order delivery date for items that have not been modified, used, or installed. Exchanges may incur a $25 repackaging fee to cover the cost of inspection and new packaging. To start an exchange, please contact us for an RMA number. You are responsible for shipping costs and ensuring the item is packaged safely to avoid damage.

Once we receive your returned item, please allow up to 5 business days for inspection and processing. Refunds typically post to your account within 7-10 days after the return is received.
