Steel Fender Flush Mount Lighting Tutorial
Although flush mounting lenses into steel fenders does require more work than a fiberglass install, the steps and procedures are nearly the same. Here is how we created Shannon's flush mount Harley Road King fender.
 1. Start by machining lens.

 2. After cutting fender to accept lens, test fit lens into fender.

 2. Adhere lens into fender.
|
 3. Bodywork lens into fender.
|
 4. Backside of fender with lens installed.
|
 5. Place refractor between lens (pictured) and LED board (pictured in step 6).

 6. Make LED board.
|
 7. Install LED in fender.
|
 8. Finish body work and paint.
