Our process. All sheet metal is sandblasted to bare steel; fender rivets removed and welded shut; primed; block sanded; base coat/clear coat; wet sanded with 500 grit sandpaper; art worked with flames, airbrush, pin striping, or other art; clear coat; sanded with 1000, 2000, and 3000 grit sandpaper; and finally buffed to a mirror finish. |

Whether you've laid your bike down or you found a good deal on a set of damaged tins you'd like to have custom painted, we can return your pieces to like-new conditions.

Custom artwork. All Bad Dad artwork is performed by experienced hands. Bad Dad also has relationships with several highly-respected local artists whose talents, at time, seem limitless. Bad Dad currently uses Scal Graphix for all hand striping, brush painting and gold leafing, and Kevin Haire is used for all custom airbrushing.
All other painting and marbelizng is done
in-house. |
