New Bagger Parts

Four new parts.  One great shop.

Stretched Tank Shroud

Bad Dad's newest product just may be its coolest yet.  This tank assembly offers exceptionally clean styling while offering exceptionally ease of install.  Bad Dad's tank shroud is composed of two fiberglass tank halves.  The two halves consist of an outer shell that simply installs over your pre-existing factory tank.

Installation of the shroud completely eliminates the stress of having to pressure test and seal coat traditional aftermarket or hand stretched tanks.  Additionally, since the shroud does not even require removal of the factory tank, almost no downtime is wasted while upgrading your Bagger's appearance.

BD's stretched tank shroud is made from the same thick, rigid hand laid fiberglass for which we have become known.  The shroud is finished in a blemish free gel coat that is ready for paint with the lightest surface prep.

The tank shroud is compatible with all 1993-2007 Touring models.  This shroud is also compatible with factory seats and dash assemblies.  Because the tank is fiberglass, seat modifications are not necessary as the fiberglass can be contoured to match the lines of any factory or aftermarket seats.

Short Extensions

The industry's accepted length for saddlebag extensions has always been a 4" stretch.  While the 4" stretch provides for a much longer bag and gives a much lower look, some may say there's a major flaw with this traditional practice: traditional is not what we're here for!

Bad Dad's newest extensions allow for a  2" stretch to your pre-existing bags.  The shorter extensions are ideal for:

  ▪ Bikes with a rear StreetGlide fender as these extensions level the unbalanced length of the rear fascia
  ▪ Riders who are concerned with ground clearance of the longer 4" extensions
  ▪ Builders who want an easy way to add additional length to their pre-existing 4" extensions

Like our original extensions, the 2" extensions still feature the full back design and offer the exceptionally large contact flange for both ease of installation and long-term longevity.  These extensions are made from the same rigid hand laid fiberglass as all our other products and come finished in a smooth, blemish free gel coat.

As always, we will continue to offer both our stretched saddlebags and saddlebag extensions.

Plug-n-Play Wiring Harness for Flush Mount Lights

Our standard operating procedure for wiring flush mount lighting packages on Baggers has been to start with a factory harness; cut a few connections; splice a few wires; and use a lot of solder.  Well it's finally time that we work smarter and not harder!

Our newest wiring harness is a complete plug-n-play setup that allows for simple, easy access to both bags and rear fender when installing aftermarket lights on your Bagger.  The harness utilizes the traditional 8-pin connector to replace your factory harness.  The harness then wires directly to your rear fender while allowing for easy disconnects to each saddlebag.  To make things even simpler, the new harness comes with its own load equalizer built in to completely erase any confusion of working with aftermarket LED lights.
