Beginning. Bad Dad
Custom Motorcycle Finishes opened early in the year 2000 as a small
division of Derk Hinsey's collision repair center, Hinsey's Pro Paint.
As the last three words of our bike company's name indicates, Bad Dad
started as an outlet for combining creativity and a passion for
motorcycles through custom motorcycle painting.
Bad Dad's custom paint work occupies a large
catalog in our Fort Wayne, Indiana shop, of which a small sample can be
seen here.

Growth. As our
experience grew and we evolved from mere hobbyists to a more
expert level, our knowledge and familiarity of the motorcycle
aftermarket grew as well. With our customer list growing we
not only became a source for "custom motorcycle finishes," but our
customers also began turning to us for mild custom motorcycle
fabrication as well. As we began working with more
aftermarket parts and parts suppliers, we began developing our
product line of custom parts to replace many of the current
aftermarket parts that we felt did not meet the quality
expectations of our customers or ourselves as well. Our

Today.
Our experience, knowledge, and customer base is currently growing at an
astonishing rate on a daily basis. As we have been able to create a
nice mix of custom paint and custom parts, we welcome every new job and
every new challenge. Although we have grown a lot from our first
custom flame job, we still pride ourselves on our astounding quality in
both paint and part fabrication, as well as our excellent customer service
that we feel is second-to-none.
